Nixon's 1st birthday was on Sunday of conference, so we just had a small family dinner. It's so hard for me to believe he's 1! I can seriously remember the day he was born like it was yesterday. He's such an amazing boy, and we are seriously so blessed that we were chosen to be his parents. He's the sweetest little man, with a HUGE personality.

Fun Facts Of Being 1

• Started walking at about 10 months. 
• Weighs 23 pounds
• Says words like: mama, dada, doggie, ducky, there, nana (knows my mom is nana, when we pull up to her house he keeps saying nana until she gives him loves)
• Has 4 teeth and 2 on the way
• Loves, Loves, Loves to eat. His new favorite tomatoes and strawberries
• He is extremely shy around people he doesn't know.
• His best friend is our dog Diesel. Nix will lay on Diesel and drink his sippy
• Daredevil. He's not afraid of anything. 
• Extremely sweet. He gives the best hugs and kisses. His new favorite is blowing kisses
• We had to take the bumpers out of his crib. He's quite the climber. One morning we heard him cry for just a second, then he stopped so we didn't think anything of it. A few minutes later we walk in to find him playing on the floor in his room. He has a pretty big crib, and the mattress is all ready lowered.

My mom gave Nix a wagon. It's the only present he got on his "real" birthday. He is absolutely in love with it. It's so cool! One side flips up and the seats fold flat so you can have a bench, it has an umbrella, and a convenient  cooler that attaches to it. He thinks it's the coolest, and so do I. I don't know who was more excited
